新服務器上午五訂貨，周日就從深圳到武漢了，不得不誇獎一下現在的物流速度。上周一送到公司，我查看了主闆型号：

我們同事沒用機器帶來的Suse Linux，在其上重新安裝了一個CentOS企業版，另外加上我們需要的幾個軟件：Squid 2.7, MySQL 5, Apche 2.2.15, PHP 5.2.13及phpmyadmin，我另外安裝了建站用的MediaWiki和Drupal系統，周二基本上都測試成功，周三就送到機房替換掉老服務器。
在新機器上看到4個4核CPU和16G内存比以前要爽太多了，于是将MySQL的一些參數進行了相應的調整。不過周四早上竟然死機了，要機房重啟，以前很少有這樣的情況，接下來兩天也不理想，白天有時依然負載過高，晚上備份負載極高、時間過長，導緻幾個小時網站慢得難以訪問，隻有終止備份、重啟MySQL，這大大出乎我的意料，原來想這台機器回來後幾乎可以解決以前困擾我們很長時間的硬件瓶頸問題，可看來并不是這樣。
除了MySQL還需要調整優化以外，還有就是我們數據量太大，導入、備份、遷移、運行Cron維護程序等操作過于集中，處理能力再強的服務器也會有力不從心的時候，後面還要繼續優化、調整一些處理安排。另外，這次準備先決心解決硬件瓶頸的問題，該投入的還是要投入，後面還準備再購買2台這樣的服務器，将目前數據量過大而集中放置的MySQL分散到三台服務器上，将Squid也分散開來，免得負載過高或者受到攻擊等情況下，一個站的問題影響到全部網站。
看來再強的機器也不能瞎折騰、亂折磨，還是需要善待的。😄
