  我们同事没用机器带来的Suse Linux,在其上重新安装了一个CentOS企业版,另外加上我们需要的几个软件:Squid 2.7, MySQL 5, Apche 2.2.15, PHP 5.2.13及phpmyadmin,我另外安装了建站用的MediaWiki和Drupal系统,周二基本上都测试成功,周三就送到机房替换掉老服务器。

  在新机器上看到4个4核CPU和16G内存比以前要爽太多了,于是将MySQL的一些参数进行了相应的调整。不过周四早上竟然死机了,要机房重启,以前很少有这样的情况,接下来两天也不理想,白天有时依然负载过高,晚上备份负载极高、时间过长,导致几个小时网站慢得难以访问,只有终止备份、重启MySQL,这大大出乎我的意料,原来想这台机器回来后几乎可以解决以前困扰我们很长时间的硬件瓶颈问题,可看来并不是这样。

  除了MySQL还需要调整优化以外,还有就是我们数据量太大,导入、备份、迁移、运行Cron维护程序等操作过于集中,处理能力再强的服务器也会有力不从心的时候,后面还要继续优化、调整一些处理安排。另外,这次准备先决心解决硬件瓶颈的问题,该投入的还是要投入,后面还准备再购买2台这样的服务器,将目前数据量过大而集中放置的MySQL分散到三台服务器上,将Squid也分散开来,免得负载过高或者受到攻击等情况下,一个站的问题影响到全部网站。

  看来再强的机器也不能瞎折腾、乱折磨,还是需要善待的。smiley
